What are reusable washable sanitary pads?

Our Reusable cloth pads are made of ultrasoft 100% cotton fabric lined by a leakproof layer of PUL. It is designed to provide full absorption without leakage issue. After usage, the reusable pad is to be washed and dried in sunlight. The beauty of this process is that you do not dispose the unwanted amount of plastics. As one changes the disposable pads after few hours the same way reusable pads have to be changed and washed and reused.

Is it safe to use reusable pads ?

In India, we have embraced disposable sanitary pads since a decade or two however we have been using cloth pads since ages now . Our grandmothers and their grandmothers and so on, all were using reusable cloth pads for centuries now, however we in modern times have not embraced the ancient safe practice of reusable cloth pads and shifted to unsafe options without thinking about the health repercussions of the same. Third advantage is that you buy a packet of disposable sanitary pad every month worth 50/- to 80/- and directly translate that money into garbage, where as you buy a set of reusable cloth pads, wash them and reuse them for 2 ½ to 3 years without spending any extra money to maintain the same.

What is reusable cloth pads made up of?

Our reusable cloth sanitary ads are made of two kinds of fabrics; the upper layer is 100% ultrasoft cotton cloth which is tested for maximum absorbency and soft feel. The bottom most layer which faces the panty is PUL (poly urethane lamination) fabric which makes the reusable cloth pad leakprof.PUL is medically accepted and is used in cloth diapers for babies and cloth pads worldwide. It is breathable and does not harm human bodies.
